Anniversary without a doubt was super fun for me. I returned to the Peruvian homeland that has received me with open arms so many times before and the honor of celebrating one of the country’s important cultural voices. We broke the status-quo again, a singer who needs very little artistic presence visually, ended up basically having her own musical about her life and career. Number after number the choreographies were full of life, the Peruvian culture and traditions were present and highlighted through each member of the ensemble, all elevated by class A musicians of the Peruvian culture on a stage. The celebration of the 50th Anniversary of this artist was performed for 2 nights only at the Peruano Japonés theatre in Lima Peru and was an event to remember. /Luis Salgado/
